SUMMARY

Surel is an amnesiac stablehand serving the independent Purgatory fortress of Demon’s Eden, Edonmej, and they want nothing to do with the local insanity. Instead, they are content to tend their beasts and live out their sleepy days in peace. Amidst sudden Angel attacks and Hell campaigning for a foothold in its eternal war against… everyone, stranger things happen the more they turn away. Old memories and monsters best left sealed begin to resurface when they accidentally get involved with their home’s god-blood wielding lord, Menelaus.
The world is dead, Eden is ashes, Purgatory is where forgotten gods rot. Sharpen that sword of Damocles, dear Servant, their graves are cold, but not quiet.
